2022 marks the 50th anniversary of Okinawa's return to Japan.
The same year also marked the 50th anniversary of Kumiodori, a traditional performing art with a history dating back approximately 300 years to the Ryukyu Dynasty, being designated a national intangible cultural asset.
As part of the anniversary project, this is an open dress with a textile pattern designed with a Kumiodori motif.

Made from rayon material with a natural sheen, the tucks and gathers create a silhouette that wraps around the entire body.

Only the front hem is switched with delicate tulle, adding a sheer accent.
